What is a couples’ massage?
A couples’ massage involves two people having a massage together in the same room. Depending on the salon, two therapists may work simultaneously on two separate massage tables, or a single therapist may massage both people in turn. The individual massage experience is enriched by a shared dimension: you share the same moment, together.
Who can you share a duo massage with?
As a couple, of course — this is the most popular option — but not exclusively: between friends, between mother and daughter, or as a gift for a special occasion. A duo massage also takes the pressure off a first visit: coming with someone else is reassuring when you’ve never set foot in a spa before.
How a session unfolds
After a joint welcome where everyone expresses their expectations, the massage tables are set up side by side. The therapists often synchronise their movements, creating a unique atmosphere: two sets of breaths slowing down at the same time. The session concludes with a shared period of rest.
Choosing the right package
Check three things: the venue (a salon equipped with two massage tables, or a home massage), the duration, and the type of massage each person would like — there’s no obligation for both people to choose the same treatment. On Evadya, the salon and practitioner profiles indicate whether duo sessions are available.
